Alternative Fuel Testing
Fully Equiped Testing facility with multiple testing engines and emissions towers Fuel TestingEmissions
Full Signal emission towers with Alpha Calibration gases for very accurate exhaust analysis. The towers certify new engines, however we use them for alternative fuels certification using reference engines.
Test Engines
Multiple diesel engine test beds. Single cylinder, IDI 4 cylinder, Turbo DI 4 cylinder (Gold Reference engine), DI 100kW 6 cylinder and 6 cylinder 300kVA 750 RPM ship engine.
Fuel Systems
Dual fuel change-over systems for automatically running heavy fuels which require heating such as Tallow, HFO, BFO, etc. Continuous flow with trace heated lines and heated tanks for start and stop.
Post Treatment
Ability to control the exhaust stream via butterfly valves to ‘feather’ the CAT and DPF for controlled emissions calculations and CHP effects.

We have specifically made our service unique to the alternative fuels industry and provide a research and testing facility that we think is totally unique within the UK.
Because we have focussed on this sector and built our test cells for this purpose we can make our prices realistic for the normal size client.
